Today(Jun 11) CDC releases its new schedule to H1N1 case reporting. It will update cases data on Friday, once every week. This is to replace the previous "Monday-Wednesday-Friday" schedule.

The goal of this initiative is to share data and information regarding the H1N1 flu out-break(also known as Influenza A or swine flu). This flu is a current event since April, 2009. We are dedicated to provide you a better view on current situation and trend by charting cases in United States and the world everyday.

I myself saying, this is a way, as well as a good way, to ease people from everyday panic.
And also, if looked in another way, it helps to enhance the accuacy of reported data, compared to previous reporting system.
