The W.H.O. and the C.D.C. have reported a total of 3,440 cases in 29 countries, including 2,254 in the United States. A total of 48 deaths have been reported.
Concerns about the swine flu outbreak have eased around the globe. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has advised that schools reopen. And coverage of the flu outbreak no longer dominates cable news shows.
The growth rate for US is 37.52%.
The growth rate for the world is 10.01%.
It has to be noticed that today's figure for world must has been misstated and the actual cases must be more than 3,440. This can be easily proved by mathimetic calculation of the numbers of all the 29 countries. Therefore today's world growth rate, which is 10.01 is misleading and should be ingored, while of course tomorrow's world growth rate will be also misleading. Take care of that.
