The goal of this initiative is to share data and information regarding the H1N1 flu out-break(also known as Influenza A or swine flu). This flu is a current event since April, 2009. We are dedicated to provide you a better view on current situation and trend by charting cases in United States and the world everyday.
Comments (as of 5/2/2009): 1, total cases are increasing linearly, but not exponentially; 2, new cases come from new states, suggesting virus keeps spreading; 3, cases in top infected areas(NY, CA,TX) remained stable and controlled; 4, fatality is low in United States; Note: these are personal opinions by blog owner. flu keeps spreading to more states quickly. But it seems cases in affected areas as new york, ca and tx is relatively stable.
